Our New House

A new world of care for the next generation.

Creating a New World of Care

Atlanta RMHC is growing with an innovative new Ronald McDonald House to support the growing demand for complex medical treatment in our state.

As Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta opens its North Druid Hills campus, we will provide families unprecedented access to A New World of Care. Steps away from specialized pediatric healthcare, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other conveniences of home, our new House will allow families to connect, find comfort, build hope, and heal through welcoming indoor spaces and imaginative outdoor play areas.

Our team remains thoughtful about how we will grow while maintaining the warm, inviting feeling you get when you are coming home to stay with family. We are honored to have kept more than 80,000 families together and close to life-saving care during their most difficult times. Today the need has never been greater. Countless more families will make the journey to Atlanta in search of medical treatment for their children, full of worry and uncertainty about what the future will bring, and we can’t support them without you.

With your help, we can build a House that lifts our families’ spirits and eases their burdens so they can focus on healing. Please join us as we create A New World of Care. Together, we can give more families with sick children what they need most — each other.

Atlanta RMHC will open the doors to a new 5-story House on the campus of Atlanta’s Arthur M. Blank Hospital in late fall of 2025. Equipped with 92 spacious guest rooms and 18 transplant suites, the new House will more than double the capacity of the House near Egleston to meet an exponential demand for world-class pediatric care and the specialized support Atlanta RMHC provides.

Located on approximately four acres overlooking the medical campus, families will live in immediate proximity to their children undergoing medical treatment. Families and children will find respite in 20 acres of green space, miles of trails, an abundance of hardwood trees, and views of Atlanta’s skyline and Stone Mountain.

Make a Difference for Families & Children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
